thinking of getting a lip lift as my top lip is really small and narrow compared to my bottom one, and my philtrum is abit too long. has anyone gotten one or know anything about them relating to my situation

Get it if your philtrum is long and your upper lip is thin

what if your upper lip is already thick? can i get it with a lip reduction? i really need to fix my long philtrum, low midface ratio, and low fwhr

I have literally the SAME exact problem brother, and idk how to fix it...
My philtrum has gotten smaller because my maxilla used to be more downgrown and now it is more upwards ( I used to be a chronic mouthbreather and I ascended really hard) but my philtrum still long.
If you have maxillay excess ( which you probably do because you have long midface+long philtrum, a lefort 1 impaction will improve a lot the philtrum and midface)
Idk about the lip reduction+lip lift, I havent seen any transformation with that but in theory it should work. If it does I might do it too

I already had 1mm le fort 1 impaction done during my bimax. Surgeon said i have no gummy smile. Maybe ill speak to another few and see if i can do any more before i consider lip lift.
I think maybe my smile isnt that gummy because i had braces as a kid which compensated my teeth, i may need decompensation first to impact my maxilla upwards further…
What is your mfr and fwhr btw
mfr is around 0.93, fwhr is somewhere between 1.7-1.8 i think but my lips are very plump so it could be sub-1.7 if i measured it without the lips but scientists usually measure from top of lip to bottom of eyebrow (i also have insanely low set brows and wide zygos which save me) so i guess it doesnt matter and lip lift should ascend us regardless. I have a long faced aunt and she got lip lift, i think it ascended her…
I think that to fix a real long midface and philtrum we should do a lefort 1 impaction+ lip reduction+lip lift.Thread 'LifeFuel for long midface boyos' https://looksmax.org/threads/lifefuel-for-long-midface-boyos.38702/
yes. Hopefully you have a gummy smile unlike me though. The only issue i have with lip reduction and lip lift at same time is i dont see any results of it online (specifically on men) which makes me worried it could end up looking weird or fucked…

My midface ratio is 0.93 exactly too and my fhwr is 1.75(from the lowest part to the lip to the mid brow) so i guess we have those ratios near identical lol.
I kinda have a gummy smile but its not big at all and it only appears when I smile a lot, does that count as gummy smile? Idk.
And yes thats what in worried about, I havent seen any transformation of it online...

Idk, depends. Sometimes gummy smile is just caused by an overactive upper lip. You need to look at your teeth show when your mouth is at rest. I only have 1-2mm so if i impacted more i would maybe get SFS….

You measured from lowest part of the lip to the mid brow? Wtf? Or did you mean from the lowest part of the philtrum. I think the way i described it how to measure is more accurate.. at least thats how all scientists in studies usually do it…

Well lets keep researching how to fix our ratios, ill @ you if i find anything and please @ me too if u find anything…

Yes, I once measured my theeth show when my mouth is at rest and it is 4-5mm. And I mean from the lowest part of the philtrum.
