I'm almost 25 and I don't really mind getting old but that's cus my youth was horrible, I can't wait to be 30-35-40 and onwards cus that's further away from when I was 13-14-15-16-17 etc

I still have trauma from my childhood and teens, but every year it gets a bit further away and easier to deal with

Also being older and more wise now helps in comparison to when I really didn't understand the world at all growing up, and it left me very vulnerable
