Money and status decide the trajectory of your life much more than looks as you get older

it’s been about over a year since i graduated university. Most of the people i know now have regular jobs, some better than others.

as more and more time passes, it becomes increasingly clear that money and status are far more important metrics than looks. unless you are absolutely hideous, the truth is most people look around average

for most people money is much more decisive in quality of life than looks. i specifically avoid naming women here because the ability to sleep with several women is not really fulfilling after a point (and if you are rich enough, you have that ability anyways)

an average guy in his 20s who focuses on advancing his career, getting (noticibly) higher paid jobs compared to his peers or starting a successful business will be much more impactful than a gymcel roider who spends most his money on sugeries trying. the effort to reward of serious looksmaxxing after a certain age simply isn’t there.

in school and university looks are easily the most important metric but as you get older, they tend to start losing value unless you are on the extremes of the looks scale
