So there's this family that has been really good friends with mine for years. We hadn't seen each other in years because they moved to a different state. But we were going to spend a week together for vacation.
They have 3 daughters who were respectively, 19, 17, 11 years old. And one son, the son is 16, 3 years younger than me (19). I used to be close friends with the son and he was always being competitive with me in sports, video games, etc. I always won since I was older but he was always a sore loser and wanted to rematch and surpass me.
I'm pretty short (5'6) and he used to be shorter than me since he hadn't had his growth spurt yet. But now he is 16. Before we met up, over the phone, he was bragging about having grown to 5'9 and I could tell he was really looking forward to heightmogging me for the first time.
I really didn't want to suffer the humiliation so I packed my biggest lifts that made me 5'8.5. When we met up, he straight up tried comparing heights and he was visibly disappointed to see that he was only barely taller than me, but he still made sure to point it out and tease in front of everyone. I acted like I didn't care at all and just laughed it off.
(I had facial surgery ever since the last time they saw me and was also a bit taller from the lifts so I overall mogged him, he has a bad case of NCT)
It was strongly evident how much better the eldest girl treated me (she used to be a total bitch to me before), she was actually respecting me. The 17 and 11 year old daughters were always nice, I didn't notice any changes. The mother of their family told my dad that I was looking more grown up and handsome. Sucess!
Anyways, when we got to the hotel he told me he was going to the gym and flexed his arms. He did have decent biceps, better than mine since I'm a skinny lazy ass. So we did an arms wrestle and to his surprise I won, (take that!) so I regained part of my honor.
Later, we all went out to swim. When we got there, I took my shoes off and immediately jumped on the pool, I couldn't have them standing next to me while I was barefoot. It was lots of fun, but at the end of it all, the youngest girl (11) came to get the towel next to me at the same time I was putting my shoes back on and she asked "Dorado, are those platform shoes?" BRUTAL BRUTAL BRUTAL maybe she was the only one who said it but everyone noticed. I kept my cool and brushed it off like nothing important was being asked. I think she believed me but if she tells him he will tell everyone and I might have to rope.
