Watched last night. The movie is so mealy mouthed and trying not to offend anyone. It even goes out of its way to say men have problems, too. Lol at being offended that a movie about barbie focuses on women's problems too much and isn't sensitive enough to men. I don't fucking care. I don't want Fight Club to have to talk about women's issues. I really don't want Brad Pitt to say, "We won't all be rockstars... oh, and ladies it's tough juggling motherhood and your career..." Barbie even abandons the whole gender angle at the end for some even weaker open-ended existentialist ending where gender doesn't even matter because you can choose to be whatever you want. It's such a nothing message. Lol at being triggered by this.
