He got into an altercation with the victims a week before the shootout, as they stole cash or smth from him

The driveby was staged - the bullets were fired at close range even with the powder on, melly's phone pinged in the exact seat, he claimed he got out there, some other dude got in and melly allegedly forgot his phone
