Looking for opinions on my bodybuilding split and what you would change.

Goal: Build the most aesthetic physique possible while maximizing hypertrophy and recovery.

Training style: Full Body Every Other Day (same workout repeated each session, not A/B style).

Current philosophy:
  • Keep exercise selection minimal
  • Mostly 1 exercise per body part
  • Focus on mechanical tension, progression, and recovery
  • Moderate volume with hard sets close to failure
Current split:
  1. Cable Lateral Raise – 2×8–12 (0–1 RIR)
  2. Incline Chest Press – 2×5–8 (1 RIR)
  3. Chest Supported Row – 2×6–10 (1 RIR)
  4. Wide Grip Lat Pulldown – 2×6–10 (1 RIR)
  5. Preacher Curl – 2×6–10 (0–1 RIR)
  6. JM Press – 2×6–10 (1 RIR)
  7. Hack Squat – 2×5–8 (1 RIR)
  8. Romanian Deadlift – 2×6–10 (1 RIR)
  9. Standing Calf Raise – 2×8–12 (0–1 RIR)
  10. Neck work – 2×10–15
Questions:
  • Any muscles undertrained or overtrained?
  • Any exercises you’d swap?
  • Is repeating this exact workout every other day optimal for hypertrophy?
  • Would you increase or reduce volume anywhere?
  • Anything missing for long-term aesthetic development?
Open to criticism. Please explain the reasoning if possible.
 
If ur doing fbeod i would reduce my set to 1x also vary with the exercise selection I would do 2 variants of fb like fb a rest fb b rest and so on so you don’t get a weak point
