Looking For Surgery First Approach (SFA) Surgeons For DJS Class 3 Bite

I have been reading thru the r/jawsurgery thread on reddit looking for surgeons that specialize in sfa. A name that came up often was Dr. Eden Pera in Istanbul, Turkey. I'm currently messaging his whatsapp to see if I'm able to be surgery first. Only weird thing about him and his clinic, or maybe it's not weird, is that they didn't ask for any scans and asked me to send 4 photos with a youtube video as an example. Here . For Turkish surgeons he seems to be on the more expensive end but hopefully that means it's due to heavy traffic meaning he's doing a good job. The only surgeon I found that did SFA on an abormal bite is Dr Umut Demetoglu in Izmir, Turkey upon further review he seems to specialize in doing BBLs and Penis enlargement I personally don't think he's the one for me but he is cheaper than Pera.

1000% waiting to here back from dr pera also bro im tryna see how your eye are ascended lol any chance you can message me them i plan on doing fat grafts after trimax as well so i wanna see how yours look. Don't you think that doing fat grafts first before bimax will have a negative affect on the infras the supras should be fine though

do you realize not every surgeon in a 3rd world country is shit and every surgeon in a 1st world country is great you have to do tons of research consultations and things on that level. Maybe a surgeon in the US might be 10x the price but quality be less than someone in Turkey I appreciate where you're coming from though

Bro of course I do. Likewise, you are also smart enough to realize that jaw surgery is already a gamble with your health, and aesthetics - the only two things that genuinely matter.

Best not shop around for deals, but rather quality and results - even if that means waiting longer. You're 18, life is just getting started. If you truly need bimax, best take advantage of the fact that you're young and have plenty of time to save and get a great option, rather than just going to whoever you can afford and will take you.

ive never heard he usually did surgery first. a lot of patients seem to have done pre orthodontics for a while. i sent him cbct scans and 4 photos, he claimed he couldnt open the cbct but still said "your bite is unstable" even though i consulted with other surgeons before and they didnt think pre ortho was necessary

damn i have seen at least 3-4 cases on reddit of him doing surgery first. I doubt it's worth pushing for surgery first if he doesn't rec but waiting a year for decomp sucks when you're in prime age lol

yeah he refused to do it and didnt want to do implants either
