I was in the shower and decided to give my long girly hair a brush through because I hadnt done one in months and revealed a horrifying reality. Luckily I had ordered some finasteride thinking that I may need it some day however...
I'm not sure if I should hop on asap or wait until I can verify the cause.
You see my hairline hasn't budged and the days when I've noticed a lot of shedding seem to always be after I've experienced something stressful so I think this could be thyroid related and not mpb, might just be coping though.

opinions? Can I hop on fina as a precaution or will doing so fuck my skin and dick up permanently even if I decide to come off?

try minoxidil twice a day before starting finasteride.
remember finasteride is a life-long treatment

Alot less hairs came out today after a thorough brushing. I'm going to give it another good brushing tomorrow morning, then do a loose hair count at the end of the next day.
