A dude can be smarter, funnier, socially skilled, have more friends, more prospects, a better career, and also just be more the type of personality that indidivual girl likes and she will chose him over a tall , ripped weirdo.

Id say adolescent experienced is the biggest shaper. People who were raised with confidence often become the best socially. Not all the time, because some people change and become confident over time, but it is a general trend that those who were socialized right and treated a certain way growing up by their family and then their peers, turn out the most comfortable around chicks.
