i think its because most hypergamy comes from women who rank lower in the attractiveness scale wanting an attractive man to validate that she is higher in the hierarchy. A genuinely GL girl would be less hypergamous (still is but less compared to averages) because they’re already validated.

Ltb-Hltb range, still much more common a htb (which btw is still a little bit hypergamous), a truly non hypergamous foid would be somewhere like mhtb-hhtb. Good looking women aren't hypergamous because they're too good looking to find men more attractive than them, so they assume most men aren't that far from there looks range
