For many, getting lean isn't as simple as dieting, because an optimal metabolism/healthy person would be LEAN-adjacent by default.

So if you're not specifically eating like a pig every day, yet still aren't anywhere near lean at all (13-15%) it means you're not meant to be.

In this case it means CUTTING will fuck you up, lower androgens, lower thyroid, make you sick, make you weak, give under eyebags, etc.

If you wake up & aren't already lean, your health isn't ready to be starved. It means you need better health, not less food. It means you are in a sub-optimal state & dieting isn't the problem -- digestion/hormones/metabolism/enzymatic activity levels/etc. are the REAL issue.

So healthmaxxing is step 1, not starvemaxxing. If you truly were MEANT to be cut, you would be close to being cut to begin with.

I know first hand -- I cut forever and still was a fatass, whereas years prior -- with better metabolism -- I ate all day & was toned more.

Nigga I've become lean in the past after being a fatfuck (mostly from anti depressants) without even trying :lul: after 6 months from now I hope/expect to have lost about 35-40 pounds. I'm naturally skinny fat tho :feelsrope:

A "calorie" isn't the same in every body, in every circumstance.

You can't even provably determine if 1 calorie is the same across the same foods, as no organic matter is perfectly stable/objective.

We change, food changes, our bodies change, and there are literally many factors outside of just calories & TDEE, etc.

Only retarded gymcels think 1 calorie is 1 calorie perfectly everywhere, and that their bodies are fucking perfect little calculators.

Nearly every shredded guy with a lot of muscle who looks good and full is on PEDs and other drugs.

That’s the biggest caveat.

Naturally skinny guys are small, and obese guys who cut down to a low body fat usually look gaunt unless top percentile.

Same I used to be lean but I’m skinny fat now but still have a fast metabolism which sucks. I legit lose 4 pounds overnight. Idk what to do abt it bc I’m skinny and my appetite is dogshit
