For many, getting lean isn't as simple as dieting, because an optimal metabolism/healthy person would be LEAN-adjacent by default.
So if you're not specifically eating like a pig every day, yet still aren't anywhere near lean at all (13-15%) it means you're not meant to be.
In this case it means CUTTING will fuck you up, lower androgens, lower thyroid, make you sick, make you weak, give under eyebags, etc.
If you wake up & aren't already lean, your health isn't ready to be starved. It means you need better health, not less food. It means you are in a sub-optimal state & dieting isn't the problem -- digestion/hormones/metabolism/enzymatic activity levels/etc. are the REAL issue.
So healthmaxxing is step 1, not starvemaxxing. If you truly were MEANT to be cut, you would be close to being cut to begin with.
