I've been working out for about three months, making some serious gains, but I was gaining weight, so I decided to keep track of how many calories I eat, and on average, I was getting between 2500-3000 a day, no wonder I couldn't lose weight. So for a week now, I've been getting at most 2k per day, and I already feel lighter. I'm not going to weigh myself for a month, but this is so fucking easy. Just track your calories theory.
