I’m currently on low dose isotret 5mg a day but I don’t have any acne already I just did it for anti aging and improving texture. Would it be better to switch to 0.1 taz only or a combo of both or is this fine

Taz is studied for better collagen effects but I would still do lower dose isotret cause its easier and systemic so for all your skin. Also most taz creams have other unideal ingredients such as alcohol which can dry the skin among others.

If you have been running low dose isotret for a while and still don't have perfect skin it's unlikely the extra benefits from taz will magically fix it so just do other treatments that mog harder like lasers, rejuran, fraxel, microneedling, etc. Plus dut, ghk, hq, oral txa, estriol, etc

Personallty, I'm on 10mg a day of accutane now (2 weeks in) after using taz for a long time. Taz did help my skin alot though. I just stopped so I can also more effectively stop any breakouts and eat more diverse foods without having to worry about acne.

Unfortunately gotta hop off cause I'm doing lasix soon (can interfere with eye healing) so back to taz

10mg until perfect skin then lower to 5mg for life just for purely maintenance

i just started 20mg since i was on tret for 6months and still have some spots that break out occasionally (mostly neck and cheeks), probably going to take 20mg for a year then either 5mg for life or tret 0,05%

You can also use dutasteride, vitamin b5 megadose (I would do 3 grams as higher can upset your stomach) has some studies for acne effectiveness and lots of anecdotal evidence of it working online.

Also many lasers and other things you can do available but for acne those r the main ones

No accutane will nuke everything but ig if you can why not especially the dut it's for anti-aging in general and an amazing drug for maintaining skin health and hair
