Low dose Retin-A long term?

Is it cope to use 0.025% long term? Trying to get rid of a bit of slight acne and make my skin tone less dull. But I like keeping shit low key tbh.

could use something like kojic acid as well

It's a long term product. You'll still reap the benefits no matter the strength, it just takes longer to hit homeostasis at a lower dose.
I'm on 0.025 and will be for probably two months before I consider upping it. I'm not in too much of a rush and already seeing fine results and not too eager to experience the side effects any more than I already am. I'll be taking tret for the rest of my life.

minor irritation of my skin / minor scalp sensitivity / minor hair shedding
hair shedding? where are you putting that stuff
 
could it be that you're imagining the hair shedding because I've never heard about that
probably tbh ngl. I shampoo 1-2x per week and train every day, so most of the hair I see in the drain will be an accumulation of hair over those several days when I didn't deep wash my scalp.
