But what are the effects of the lower jaw expander and
what is his use besides moving teeth?

Do I need do wear it if I wear a palate expander?

Lower expanders will "upright" teeth that are tipped inward, and if they don't need uprighting, the device will "flare" the teeth over the edge of the supporting bone. For either process to be safe and effective, there needs to be enough bone and gum tissue around the roots of the teeth. Otherwise the removal of teeth may be necessary for the best results. Some appliances for lower jaw expansion look similar to those used in the upper arch, but some orthodontists prefer using removable retainers (sagittal appliances) with built-in expansion screws.

no there is no correlation between mse or palatal expander to expanding jaw
if you going to expand the maxilla you also have to expand mandible to avoid malocclusion

I have the braces in the picture above on both my jaws
I guess I will wear them till I can't turn the screw

but now my upper teeth palate is too narrow

I had both a palate expander and a mandibular expander. I can say that the mandibular expander didn’t work as effectively as the maxillary expander. Most of the actual bone changes I saw was in my chin. My jaw got a few millimeters wider, but not as much as my chin.
