DJS would probably save me facially. This is my ceph, does it/did it resemble yours at all?I’ve got shit TMD as well, ended up qualifying for surgery including joint replacement & DJS for free. Surgery probably the last step you want to take to treat TMD tho
I agree, counting down the days until my operation lol. Your bite/skeletal class looks pretty normal (I’m a class II), so if you do get djs it might be purely aesthetic. For TMD the procedures I found the most helpful were botox & steroid injections.DJS would probably save me facially. This is my ceph, does it/did it resemble yours at all?
I think my skeletal class is normal; however, I do have "short face syndrome" (Hypodivergent growth), and my natural tooth resting position makes it extremely easy to clench.I agree, counting down the days until my operation lol. Yeah, I always hear ringing when I chew, or clench, or open my jaw, or move the jaw side to side. I'm also noticing more headaches recently. + The tooth wearYeah bruxism puts a real load on the joint & hypertrophies the masseters, TMD speedrun
