I’m 15 and have crooked teeth because my upper/lower palate is too narrow, especially my lower palate. Last week my orthodontist said I’d need 4 premolar extractions (2 upper, 2 lower) before braces, but I don’t want extractions, it's retarted obv. My wisdom teeth are also coming in soon, and I’m trying to create more space in my palate/jaw instead of removing teeth. I still want braces or Invisalign to fix the crooked teeth, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to do that without extractions. Could more forward growth create enough room for my teeth? My dad also has a somewhat narrow skull, but he developed more forward growth and never needed extractions.
