No he is listed as taller in his autopsy. Keep in mind they take his height as soon as he was caught and his skull was cracked open at the time of measuring . I think 6'1. 5 is accurate. And of course in those days that would be the equivalent of what 6'4 is today.

They got aggravated in prison. His jaw lost its form started accruing size without the normal jaw structure. His nose stayed the same tho.

growth hormone conditions don't manifest themselves uniformly, not all parts of the body are necessarily affected.

I have one too, it affects my hands but not my feet for example.
