Intro
I'm planning on making a free to use site to find your rating maybe with some forms of monetization but I will make sure it doesn't affect free users as much. You can use the org if you want other forum users to rate you, but the site I'm making will be expanded to other platforms such as r/truerateme. I'm extremely experienced with web development and made over 200k from other software and internet related businesses. I've made over 100 website in the past both for business purposes, personal purposes, or just services like these. I'll finish the prototype today or tomorrow for beta testing and I estimate the whole site will be done within a week, but if something happens like I get shot by some niggas or some shit, maybe a month max.
Getting Started
To get started, users will signup with an username, first name, email, gender, and password. The username will be an identifier used by our backend. We will either use id or username, I plan on using both, id (to locate users and adjust the ratings of their posts, etc) and username to view other users profiles for example, "/profile/{username}" to maintain privacy especially for very early users, which will start at uid=1. The gender field will be used to identify you. It'll make much more sense as you read on. Once those fields (username, name, email, gender, password) are submitted, a verification code of 6 digits will be sent to your email. You will have to verify to prevent bots. I'm not 100% sure yet but I might make it track ip addresses and limit it to 1 account per ip address to prevent bots. Once registered, you can start by voting. below will be more info on voting but you will earn maybe 1 credit or whatever currency we end up choosing and once you get 10 or more, you can withdraw for a rating per credit. You can choose your target audience as male, female, or both (I don't know if I should include trancels but who knows jfl). I might add age too but I feel like that might give too much info. Maybe I'll keep it private and you can choose your privacy settings. You can set between real age, age range, or hide age completely. But yeah you will be able to choose your target age, maybe race too, and just a bunch of demographics. We'll send emails to you once all credits for the post is used up and you can fuel it up if you have any more credits or whatever. Ofcourse, all of this can be toggled in settings for example if you don't want to receive emails, you can simply turn it off. There will always be insecurecels so we'll add a ton of privacy settings incase you want to enable them all so you're practically anonymous with only your face to identify you by. For even more insecure people, we'll add a feature to request a rating on a specific feature, for example, hair, eyes, nose, mouth, etc and everywhere else will be blurred. We will also provide reference faces to slap your features onto if you want a more natural base for others to rate you from. These will cost maybe half the credits at 0.5 credits per rating. You can also choose the inverse (hide a specific facial feature instead of receive votings for a specific feature) like this nigga:
Raters can also add a description or we might actually require it. For example, selecting the best features, worst features, improvement ideas, etc for extra credits. The person who posted the photo can then tip the raters if they like the response.
Profile
On your profile, you can set your profile picture, banner, what info you want to show (age, gender, etc) and then you can choose to have your ratings public. You will also be able to choose what posts you want to show on your profile.
We will host tournaments, leaderboards, and more aswell.
Tournaments
For tournaments, the winner is determined by best glow up in the month, week, year, season, etc. It'll either be by rating increase in the time frame or we'll get judges. We'll give prizes away if we end up having a surplus of money every month from monetization, but maybe for the first few months, we will give away badges/titles like "July 2025 Glow Up Winner", "Fall 2025 Glow Up Winner", and so on. I'll think of more creative names later.
Leaderboards
Leaderboards can be grouped by gender, age group, age, etc. As you might have thought already, the highest rated person in each category or combined categories will go up in the leaderboard. Titles will be given away too like Highest Male Mogger, 5th Highest Male Mogger, etc. I think if you don't win a whole category like gender, it can be combined like if you're the highest rated male in the age range of 18-21, then you'll be the Highest Male Mogger (18-21) or something. We might also require users to verify themselves by uploading a picture of themselves holding a piece of paper with their username + a certain number or date or whatever specific identifier like a random combo of words. This way we can ensure people don't upload pictures of others, have multiple accounts, etc.
We might add regional tournaments and leaderboards too like by country, state, city, or even street if you're wild enough and wanna mog your neighbors
The point is I'll make sure this is as fun as possible and you can get everything while still being a completely free user, and if you want to support the site, you can pay for some purchases.
Rating Scale
You can switch between the some pre set scales such as the PSL scale, decile scale, r/truerateme guide based rating, etc or even set your custom rating system. I'm still working on this site but I'm planning on having a set unit (unit that the backend uses), maybe PSL or decile, and your custom rating system will be based on that. For example, if you for some reason love turtles and the backend runs on PSL, you can match yours as:
4 psl = 5.5 turtle
8 psl = 20 turtle
or just whatever the fuck you want it to be. This way, someone's 4psl that they kept as the PSL scale will be the same as someone's 5.5 turtle, which they applied a custom adjustment to. I'm doing this so that everyone's scales can be synchronized no matter your preference.
Dating Site Profile Ratings
Instead of just having facial ratings, you can have ratings for pictures you take for shit like Tinder or other dating sites. You can upload multiple photos into a "profile" instead of individual "posts" for facial ratings. For others to rate, they can click through your photos, bio/about me, etc. Similar methods as above, this might be one of the later features because the demand might not be as high, but still a cool feature imo.
Accuracy
In order to ensure everyone gives honest ratings and doesn't use autoclickers, bots, scripts, etc, we're going to calculate the distribution the standard deviation of each face posted for a rating. We will give points depending on how far the rating the user gives is from the mean (all ratings/rating numbers).

In this example, there will be different steps/points. I'm still thinking about it, but I might either do the absolute value of steps so it's always positive or not.
If the user's average rating given is a certain points away (could be either negative or positive), and excessively gives outlier ratings, they will be flagged and all photos uploaded by that user will no longer show up for others to vote on until we look through their votes and check it. I'm planning on coding algoritms to calculate whether they used a random selector (selects a random button/element out of the rating options), used an autoclicker to spam a certain rating, or whatever and they will be banned if they are guilty and all of their ratings given will be removed from all posts. If they're not guilty, their posts will be open for ratings again and perhaps be given a special badge or point for every time they have been checked by the moderation team to help future moderators know if they're valid or not.
Monetization
I honestly don't plan on making money from this but I would need money to continue hosting this service and eventually give prizes away for tournaments. I'm planning on selling credits, which can be used to receive ratings. Lets say for every person you rate, you get 1 credit. I'll probably limit each user to earning 10 credits a day or maybe make the user earn 0.5 credits after the 10 credits and it'll reset in 24 hours. But you can buy credits to get them instantly. Or I'll create a premium subscription to earn 2 credits per rating without a daily limit. There's so much ideas but I wouldn't add any of these until the site has been running for half a year or even more to ensure there's a sufficient user base so no need to worry if you don't like this idea. I plan to donate any extra money made or even putting it back into the site incase next month doesn't do too well. I might also host giveaway and stuff because I already have enough money saved up from my irl jobs. I'm always free to criticism aswell.
INCENTIVES (Ways you can earn money)
I have a shit ton of money to throw around so I'll hire moderators either by hour ($25), which I assume is a bad idea as they will slack off, so I'll do by task so for every 10 users they verify by photo, I'll pay them $5 or some shit. Same with moderating ratings. If the system detects a user could be suspiciously rating others, they will ping on the moderator dashboard and assigned to an online moderator. I'll pay like $2 for every user moderated this way. I just don't have the time to sit here and moderate everything especially because I have a job outside the internet. But yeah there's ways to earn money without being a moderator for example receiving tips for giving advice, winning tournaments, etc.
AI Features
I have some AI features planned, these include
1. AI Ratings
This won't be as accurate as human ratings, but we will train it based on posts made. You can ofcourse set your posts to not be used by our AI. I've actually trained an AI before to rate faces a few months ago and I made a few hundred dollars from people using it in my school. Since I made quite a bit of money from that, I'll put it into this site for free.
2. AI Suggestions
Gives you suggestions on how to improve your appearance. This could either be a summary of the responses given by users for facial ratings or it could use the looksmax tool I made roughly the same time I made the rating tool. It basically gives you a score for each feature, gives you suggestions, etc. It's basically my version of Umax and has the same features and accuracy.
3. Suggestions
Like for the rest of this post, I'm looking for suggestions for anything. I would take any constructive criticism because I want this to be the best site that it could be for you guys. A ton of shitposts happen here too but I appreciate how everyone helped me so this is my way of giving back to the community.
Conclusion
I'm going to start working on the website as soon as I post this thread so I might be slow to reply, but I hope you guys want this to come to life. If not, it's no big deal, I'll just scrap all of this but I just thought this would be a cool service to share with everyone.
