I'm pretty sure they're called malar bags, but they're a line going down from the too of my nose to above my cheekbones.

I know about fat grafting and im too young for that, do you guys have any other recommendations? Also tips for smile lines too, but not as desperate as the malar bags. I don't know, collagen, retinol or tretinoin? What can i do to ascend my eye area, because the malar bags are seriously holding me back.

Microneedling + debloating + hydration + retinoids

if that doesn't work, just get blepharoplasty

Microneedling? How will that work? And yeah could you tell me more about retinoids.

I've noticed when I get out a warm shower they're minimal so that's something.

Is leaning out also good to do?

Yes but no. I used to have those fuckers, well I still do, but they're much, much less noticeable now, in fact some days i don't even have them. When I leaned down, they became almost imperceptible, but I'd attribute that more to the skincare and diet rather than losing fight itself.

So when you lean down, you hopefully would start eating significantly cleaner, which would improve the bloating and improve the malar bags, I do not think that fat plays a big role there.

Thank you, I appreciate the help.

Microneedling, ideally with a professional device or in a clinic, or with a dermaroller or dermastamp will improve collagen production in your skin, tightening the area and reducing the appearance of the line via improving collagen production and firmness in the skin.

When it comes to retinoids, I personally use adapalene, used to do tretinoin but moved on because for some reason my pharmacy nearby doesn't have it, but I haven't noticed much of a difference, plus it's cheaper. If you've never used a retinoid, I'd start with retinol and then move on from there to the strongest you can get, it will help your case in a similar fashion to microneedling, smoothing out the skin and improving collagen production.

Also yeah, malar lines are essentially caused by fat displacement or certain collagen/elastin conditions (inherited), sun exposure or fluid accumulation (bloating). Your issue is likely multifactorial, I guess a warm shower mimics the effects of a sauna, which are known to reduce fluid accumulation in the skin making your malar bags much better, so one of the reasons why they may be very prominent some days could be an unideal diet.
