We all know that in the US, it is much easier to hook up in college than after meeting someone in a bar or through social circle. However, many may not know that there is an easy explanation for this. Women outnumber men in US colleges.

This is not a small gap, it means there are 12% of women who would be "left over" even if every student had one partner. The consequences: Women have to try harder to get a man than in other social places. This leads to them making it easier for men to hook up with them. Of course, this doesn't mean that every hookup will lead to a new relationship. It's just more men getting what they want, as women know they don't have the same power as if they were in the minority (like in a bar, where women are always in the minority).
This theory can be proven with the fact that in the few colleges where men are the majority, there are far less hookups:

In these colleges, women can set the rules, and they do so by making it more harder for men to get what they want (hookups).
Another example for how the male-female ratio affects dating are some cities.
New York City has a population that is 53% female and 47% male. Unsurprisingly, it is known as the world's capital for hookups. The average New Yorker - again, AVERAGE - has a body count of 24.

It is also the city where men are on average the oldest when they marry. The reason for that is probably because men have more options and can wait longer to tie the knot.

Finally, the male-female ratio affects JBW too.
In Eastern Europe, there is a surplus of women in many countries. (I know that Eastern Europe is White, but the most desirable Whites are from Western Europe, North America, Australia/New Zealand, so they can run JBW in Eastern Europe).

Why? Well, these countries have a surplus of men. There are millions more men than women in China and India: "for every 100 women and girls among under-25s today, there are 113 to 117 men and boys in China and India."
Therefore, women in these countries aren't that desperate to find a men from a foreign country. There are more than enough in their own country, even if they are Chinese and Indian (lol).
In regions like SEA and Africa, JBW works perfectly, because of betabuxxing and a normal male-female ratio (and in SEA because of the fetishization of White skin), but in China and India, the massive male surplus means women have so much options that they don't need a foreign betabuxxer. Indian men may have it difficult in the West and suffer from the gender imbalance in their own countries, but at least they don't have to be afraid that foreign men steal their women in their own countries.
