Manchester City will win the treble this season

Belgian Wes Hoolahan (0 iconic CL performances :feelstrash:) and MLK wannabe will bottle it once again in the knock out stages :feelshmm:
Foden is good tbh, better than Penandes.

It will ultimately be to no avail though, Pep can't win CL trophies without refs and Messi
NEVER FORGET:
He had an iconic performance vs real Madrid last season

Meh, scored a penalty + it was only the RO16.
0 iconic performances for Belgium as well.

He's good but people overrate him tbh, he'll never be on the same level as truly elite midfielders such as Kroos and Modric.

when i was like 11 i got tired of being a barça fan and i started liking girona when they were a bad 2nd division team like the aspie i am, i also won against their u12 team and i thought supporting a team i won against was cool

Karma for the 100 times the ref was on his side, plus Real Madrid didn't have bottlers like Robben

What game did you watch? Pep got his tactics the wrong way round (at home, of all places) and as a result, his team absolutely stank the place up.

Even if you wanna argue there were 3 offside goals, the aggregate score would've still been 2-0 in Real's favour, denying Pep's team any chance of playing in that season's final. Despite the fact that he inherited the best squad in the world (the 12-13 treble-winning team)

You have got to be joking if you think winning a world cup with an all star team carried by Mbappe and Griezmann is better than carrying your team to 2 premier leagues and performing consistently every week and getting in TOTY

Except De Bruyne didn't carry shit. He was injured on several occasions throughout the 18/19 season, yet City had no problem winning the PL that season when he wasn't there.
He's pretty much the modern-day Paul Scholes: overhyped and overrated.

Also, no CL trophy in his cabinet when he will turn 30, later this year. Meanwhile, Kroos had 4 of them by that age. Levels.

I'm not a huge Pogba fan, for the record. But the fact is that he has proven himself at the biggest stage (World Cup that is, followed by the CL)

Pogba has World Cup pedigree
Kroos and Modric have World Cup + CL pedigree
De Bruyne has neither

So that means kroos is better than De Bruyne? What is that logic? If de bruyne was in that madrid team over kroos they would've won the same amount of trophies if not more. Hes had the most assists in a season 3 times in the PL with one of them being 20. He has the 10th most assists in the PL of all time. City were able to cope without de bruyne because city have an unbelievable amount of backup so your point is invalid. If lingard was de bruynes replacement and they still played well then your point would be valid.

If CL trophies equals talent then Jamie Carragher is better than De Bruyne :lul:

Plus Kroos had Modric and RONALDO who literally was the reason Real Madrid was so good in CL for so long

De Bruyne has fucking Sterling (says it all) and Jesus, plus an inconsistent Aguero in CL

Not to mention De Bruyne has LUKAKU and WITSEL and CHADLI (Hazard died recently)

Pogba has Mbappe (best striker in the world behind Lewandowski) and Griezmann and Kante and Dembele

Woulda, coulda, shoulda...

And yes, Kroos is considerably better than De Bruyne. CL winner for 2 different teams (and 4 trophies in total) whereas De Bruyne couldn't hack it at Chelsea, best midfielder at the 2014 World Cup (MOTM vs Brazil vs De Bruyne ghosting against France) and I can go on and on.

Surely, if De Bruyne was better, Madrid would simply ditch Kroos and sign him instead, or never have signed him in the first place.

Fabregas, when he played for Arsenal, pulled similar numbers in terms of goals/assists to De Bruyne, whilst playing with absolute deadwood such as Bendtner, Denilson, Song, Walcott, Arshavin etc. It's a disgrace that De Bruyne, playing in the most expensive squad that football has ever seen, isn't breaking every record under the sun. Maybe he isn't quite as good as some make him out to be.

Why didn't Madrid just sign de bruyne? Are u joking? This isn't FIFA career mode it's not like they can just buy who they want, they would take de bruyne over kroos anyday. De Bruyne actually actuslly had a good game for Chelsea in his 3 that he played but for literally no logical reason mourinho decided to never play him. As soon as he was actually given game time he played brilliantly.

You could say fabregas in his prime was better than De Bruyne but kroos and pogba are dogwater compared to de bruyne.

No, they wouldn't. We're talking about Real Madrid, the biggest club in the world, who could sign virtually any player in the world.
If they wanted De Bruyne, they would have gotten him a long time ago.
But the truth of the matter is that they got 2 superior players in his role: Kroos and Modric, who were key in winning them 3 and 4 CL trophies respectively. So no need to downgrade.

There simply isn't a whole load of excitement surrounding a player, almost 30 years of age, with no CL or World Cup pedigree.

He believes in Pep and knows he has a great team that wins titles so he always has hope they’ll win CL, he won’t just jump to say a Bayern just because they won it recently. Imagine having the most successful manager and being in one of the best teams in the world, you’d never want to leave. Why don’t all elite players just move to the team that’s the best in the world? That just isn’t possible due to a variety of reasons. He’s simply unlucky that they’ve underperformed and Sterling is a retarded nigger.

Kroos and Modric have to control the midfield, not assist and score, so their job is much easier to do in a big game than De Bruyne who has to do everything perfectly and rely on his strikers to finish his passes and make good movement. His job is much harder than Kroos and Modric’s.

Pep the best manager, the same who wasn't won a CL trophy in a decade now?
Biden

But maybe he's scared to leave his comfort zone, as at a club like RM he would actually have to perform on the big stage, otherwise, the fans would crucify him (see Bale).

Also, Kroos and Modric have far more defensive responsibilities than De Bruyne, let's not get it twisted. They drop back deep to collect the ball, defend AND create. If anything, their job is far more versatile and harder than the one De Bruyne has.

Plus Kroos was an elite playmaker at Bayern. In terms of playing positions, he has proven himself as a #6, #8 AND as a #10, that's literally unheard of. Once again, theres levels to this.

No I believe u.

What's Ur play style?

I started out playing RW. I could dribble like Messi but couldn't head the ball and my shots had zero power and accuracy so I played RB. I pretty much played like Alphonso Davies cuz of my pace and I remember I scored my only goal when I ran past 4 players including the goalie starting from my half of the pitch and then walked the ball into the goal.

My passing and shooting were just awful tho I genuinely have no idea how to pass n shoot accurately. All I had was dribbling, pace, strength and stamina.

I had to leave the team tho cuz everyone was making fun of my appearance including opposition at some points.
