You can't and which part of the mandible do you want longer? The body or the ramus

If the ramus then distraction osteogenesis of the ramus or implants Ig

If the body of the mandible then bsso

Chin and body of the mandible are separated from each other as a features

It depends on what you need you can need both or need only one

Cause you have two jaws the upper jaw and the lower jaw

If your lower jaw is more developed than your upper jaw you get an underbite that's why they move both jaws most of the time

If you can get bsso with mandible being in the correct position then it's fine but most people need surgeries in both jaws
