So my mandible and whole bottom jaw is competently recessed by almost an inch when I am not jutting. I have braces but can’t use the rubber bands to fix my jaw because my growth plates have almost completely fused (I’m 16). I’ve been to a surgeon that my Ortho recommended and basically scheduled the surgery for December. But my fucking dad thinks that I’ll be fine without it. My mum is fine with me getting it but this guy won’t fucking stop saying no. Does he not get the struggles of being lost in the depths of lmtn. Like bro he met my mum in Canada while travelling and he doesn’t understand that my wife is waiting for me on Snapchat quick add but I need to meet the bare minimum of hmtn so I NEED this surgery. I honestly doubt he could care. He only cares about the money not how I feel. He’s trying to avoid it at all costs because of the cost itself. He makes enough money to afford it within a yearly budget but again refuses to show an ounce of empathy.
