MARPE leading to wide jaw?

i asked my orthodontist about getting MARPE but he said even if i were to get it the difference would be very minimal since if the advancement is too large they will also have to widen my bottom jaw which will make my face look rounded, however my maxilla is very narrow, not even leaving enough room for proper tongue posture. What should i do?

What do you mean by proper tongue posture ? Can you have the tongue on top of the roof or not ? People in the mewing community is so lost about that shit, thats why they over expand and looks like grotesque freaks

it won't properly fit without touching my molars, the tongue basically always pushes up against my molars unless i fully close my mouth so that the bottom&top molars dont allow the tongue to escape

Sounds like s skill issue to me, snd why the hell would you mew after the age of 12 it wont help you with anything. Proper on improper wont change a shit
