MARPE + Orthodontics vs Orthodontics only

I definitely need expansion as I have crowding on both upper and lower arches.

Will dental expansion using damon braces be enough for both functional and aesthetic purposes? Functional as in get more tongue space and oral volume, can't mew properly rn

I would prefer to get MARPE though but pretty out of budget rn since it costs ~$4k in my country + orthodontic treatment while braces are only around $1k which I can afford now.

So, damon braces rn before college or wait ~2 years to save up and get a MARPE?

Honestly just do it asap, braces are pretty horrid (I have them rn) and its better to just get them out of the way.

Had marpe as a jit and got off damon braces a few months ago as well. It depends a lot on how long you would have braces on. I had them on for almost 4 yrs, so I’d say get ts over with and do braces now and marpe as soon as u can. Hopefully u wont have braces for that long

An ortho I went to said my treatment would probably last for 1.5 years but do you think its worth the money for it? as I'm eventually going to get MARPE and braces again after MARPE
