Marpe surgery

Do we even need brace after marpe surgery? Is it a short term brace? Because i cant afford a full term brace (2 years) after marpe. It cost too much i am out of wallet.

I got marpe but ortho said I only need invis align for 6 months to a year. Though, I already had straight teeth pre-marpe
