It really helps me to understand but i had a radiology and the nurse told me i'm at stage 4 out 5 idk if in france it's different but my plate aren't fused but they aren't rlly wide open do u think it will still work and i need to talk to the oethodentist fast ?

Talk to the orthodontist either way.

Even if the suture is fused you can get SARPE done and it'll have a similar effect to MARPE, at least I think so.
idk but I think at 16 its too late, correct me if im wrong

Depends if the mid palatal suture is fused or not.

If it isn't fused, then it's still effective.

Most of the time when you're 16 it's still not fused.

And if the suture is closed, then most people'd have to look into something like SARPE.

To answer OP's question, MARPE's aesthetic benefits are a better smile + upward and outward rotation of the zygos, amongst other things. I dunno much about it.

Hope this helped. If it did, mark as solution by clicking the checkmark on the right :Comfy:

no, distance of eyes is 100000% genetic and can’t be changed, marpe only moves the zygos and infras up so ur eyes become horizontal wider
