I have inward gonions, and a long skull, aswell as a orthoganically recessed mandible which I cope with by permajutting. Assuming your proportions are designed such that you have a narrower lower third, masseter training is not and never will be cope. I used 2 rubber jaw trainers I got off temu every other day, and the lateral width I've gained in doing so is definetly supporting my facial features. If your already have wide gonions and/or a short skull, obviously training your masseters is gonna throw off your proportions but for 80% of people, this is a easy, accesible, low risk, and extremely worthwhile maxx. I can literally feel where my masseters starts, slightly infront of the back of my jaw, and the difference in width is huge. The type of trainers I use have been attached below for those of you who are interested. Goodluck boyos

Hi guys. You're 100% right I should've included photos. Attached below are 2 before and afters (I understand that the angles vary however with this significant of a difference it can definetly be argued that angles and distortion are negligible (I hope). Do ignore the black bars, I know its not really covering anything but I dont like uploading my face on the internet so I hope u can understand this sort of gives me some semblance of privacy. Anyways Here are the photos grouped into angles that I found on my phone.
Before (Angle 1):

After (Angle 1):
After2

Before (Angle 2) looking especially subhuman in this one:

After (Angle 2):

Hope this was able to help you guys, do take everything I've said with a grain of salt since in my case, I had subhuman jaw width which was a HUGE failo, meaning that training masseters was basically guranteed to help me. Upvote the post or whatever if you found it helpful.

It’s over either way man the masters aren’t the issue

Your jaw is VERY narrow though, you can have inward gonions and a wide jaw (like me) it's the most annoying falio cuz hollows are really hard to maintain and training my massetters will make my bigonial wider than my bizygo :feelswhy:

Sorry if I sound like a smartass, but I directly referenced that nuance in my reply with the photos, read the post before replying

Its spelled "masseters" not "master", and everyone on this forum is here to improve their looks, which I think I've managed to with jaw training, I'd be more worried about the -30 ethnic tax you get from being indian G, (not to offend the other indians who aren't newgen retards on this forum)

Thanks bro, I also permajut, which sort of changed my natural resting posture, but besides the jaw training yeah, thank you alot for the response it means the world to me that the change is atleast noticeable.

you can get hallows even if you have inwards gonions. I have hallows and a narrow jaw, you just need highest cheekbones and facial depth. obviously you can't change either of those without surgury which is pretty brutal.

yeah, my zygos are good but my maxilla could definetly be better, unfortunately I can't max it without surgery obviously

I can get hollows but I have to be 10-12% bf and debloated (usually on a duiretic for this) so most of the time I don't

Did you chew with molars or incisors
I sort of constantly did "Reps" of clenching my jaw using the incisors throughout the day (without the jaw trainer), it was a habit, but when doing jaw training, I'd do mostly incisors and then id move the rubber to be inbetween the upper and lower molars, so basically a bit of everything. I didn't really pay attention to whether I was using incisors or molars just sort of treated the jaw trainer as if it was a piece of gum in my mouth and constantly chewed it (basically autistic fidget toy). Something worth noting is that I do have some sort of malocclusion, because when my incisors are correctly aligned, the molars dont make contact, hence the permajut.

are you clenching in afters? does it look good when not?
Not clenching in afters, however in the second after and before I was doing a front double bicep (Only pic I Had which I could use JFL), which makes you automatically suck in your neck, meaning in both the second before and after I was basically doing the "Hullo Method"

lens distortion lmfao, there's no actual difference
Agreed theres definetly distortion, but the 2 second photos are both taken from the same distance (around 1m), angle, and camera zoom (2x) so you cannot logically argue that theres lens distortion in the second 2, hence why the difference seems less significant in the second before and after. The first before and after though you definetly could argue is distorted.

what if my masseter is already like the same place as my zygos u know what I mean
Not sure about this one ngl, I dont wanna answer u and give bad advice so I'd reccomend u make your own educated decision on whether or not to train masseters.

do you have highset cheekbones?
I do believe so. When touching my cheekbones I can feel them protruding from the sides at about where my eyes begin. Though they are recessed in terms of forward projection along with my infras.

Totally agree, but its not like that for all people. If your Ramus is tall and you just need a little width, its such an easy ascension

Yes bhai, planning to get forsus first for my overjet then I'll look into a MARPE, or I'll do both if an orthodontist agrees that its the correct course of action.

Definetly varies person to person yeah. it does really help with frontal gonial angle though, gives the illusion that downward growth is not as significant, what you cant compensate for from the side can usually be compensated for in the front.

no one say ts cope but why would we have to chewing and consume micro plastic into our balls? instead chewing hard food like bone cartilage or other hard food

Ye for sure, I'm not too sure how the inserts vary in the masseters, do let me know if you can be bothered.
Me personally it makes me look bloated but I noticed my massager muscle takes up more of my face and is closer to my mouth/maxilla than normal
