Mastic gum and mouth sore

I want to know, does anybody get sores from chewing mastic gum, Ik mastic doesn't cause sores, but when I chew it I always bite my cheeks hard, by accident, especially if I try to chew faster!When I chew my food or regular gum I never bite my cheeks, but not with mastic gum!Will I ever learn to not bite my cheeks in time or I should just chew slowly untill they heal?

I have a misaligned premolar and my gum became inflamed too, recently it bleed a little, but idk if it's serious enough to consult the dentist
