If there’s only one right answer, that makes it harder, not easier. In English, you can miss the point, yap for five pages, and still get a passing grade because 'it's just your interpretation.' In math u cant. If you are 0.0001% off, you are 100% wrong. You can't 'interpret' your way into a correct proof.
