There are different protestant dominations, i am thinking of the most conservative ones probably like Baptists. They have the closest beliefs of the bible without influence of pagan superstitions like thinking that Jesus is the son of God literally like Orthodox Christians do. The doctrine of Orthodoxy doesn't literally think of Jesus as Gods son but the followers, at least slavic ones, have just repainted ancient slavic paganism and see the saints as slavic Gods, they also practice confirmed pagan traditions during Christmas eve like jumping over a huge fire at night time, its all just paganism. I just cant see how God would allow his followers to fall like this, when Balkan muslims have no connection to their ancestors pagan beliefs

im not Catholic or Orthodox rn. I was baptized in an Orthodox monastery. I have no problems with Orthodox practices. The church is really against worshipping idols. The problem is that the population starts doing weird stuff and they be worshipping icons and shii. Again, the stance of the Orthodox church is very unidolatrous.
