What is the difference in the outcome by intruding with tads and cutting with lefort 1 surgery for mild to moderate cases?will the soft tissue look different?

Also interested in tads intrusion topic, from what i found rn it won’t give u as dramatic result, 2-4mm from what i found at researchgate. But 4mm for example is a lot actually, sounds better then 5-7mm with your maxilla being cut with impaction unless u r severely downgrown

@mvp2v1 from what i saw here and there it seems like u have some knowledges on a topic, maybe you could reveal something on molars and intrusion topic please? Especially of intrusion on a case with maxillary vertical excess with and without gummy smile with elongation in philtrum region (not usual case when nose elongated but philtrum is relatively average)

Aesthetically it won't make a difference, both methods are pretty manageable. But if you have a vaulted palate, intrusion would improve it

Hi! Can u share some info on a topic? I’m very interested but found bare minimum for now, only few results so now I know what to expect at least

Isn't intrustion with tads heavier on the teeth? By that I mean it's not healthy for the roots to be intruded (there is also huge discomfort) and also the tooth position is not ideal that way. You'd better off fixing it skeletally, no?
