Finally convinced my dentist after 6 months to give me expanders, probably because he messed up some stuff with my insurance so i got a little extra help.
Even so my advice and from what i did to convince him was every session i would tell him about how my tongue didn’t fit all the way in the roof of my mouth, complained i snored when i sleep, that my airway isn’t open enough, and that i had masseter tightness and pain (which can lead to TMJ if not fixed)
Im getting a NiTi Expander for my upper palate and a Schwartz appliance for the arch which aligns the bite during expansion
He said 3-4 mm of expansion over 3-4 months, ill update on how it goes when i get them installed near the end of may.
