Nose angle seems to be much more about cartilage and the nasal bone, Maxilla mean more the projection of your nose from the eyes, as you can see in the photos above posted by the user toptearmm, exist differences but even with recessed maxilla your nose can be straight, or even concave, but this also mean less nasal bridge and totally straight nasion."
