Generally, it is recommended to ingest between 1,000mg and 1,400mg.
But depending on the source, u'll only get half lol. Even more so for calcium supplements that ppl buy at the pharmacy.
Stupid question, should I eat this bioavailable amount?
:ogre: And dont ask me why, theyre just doubts, bro...
Btw, to avoid shit, would I have to take a high dose of vitamin D too?

Small caveat, if you're an adult you only need about 1000mg, if you're a teen it's 1300mg.

Are you asking whether or not you should supplement? Supplementation is an option of course and it honestly makes it easier, to get that much calcium you'd need leafy greens, milk, cheese, yogurt, sardines (bones in), etc. It's not impossible, but for you it might be a little complicated.

Ideally yes, get that intake from real foods, but if you struggle supplementation is just fine. Just...
I'm just bored, I want to hear someone's opinion
And I stopped eating vegetables and stuff like that, its brutal. You dont absorb almost any of that lol
(not all ofc)

Yes it’s easy naturally. Just spam yellow cheese tbh.

And yes, you need vitamin D. If you have a sun in your country (not gonna say because I don’t wanna dox you:Comfy:) so just sunbath for 1 hour a day. If not then you can take vitamin D supplements.

But I usually sunbathe with a shirt on, the neighbors bedroom and kitchen windows face my backyard. Ngl that makes me angry

Ideally yes, get that intake from real foods, but if you struggle supplementation is just fine. Just make sure you're getting a quality supplement with the most bioavailable form of calcium, which I think was calcium carbonate (the same stuff that makes eggshells). There are tone of calcium carbonate supplements in the market and technically speaking there's no difference between those calcium supplements and eating eggshells.

A high dose of vitamin D3 is not necessary or smart, well it depends on what do you mean with "high dose", a dose of 2000-4000 IUs is fine, +10000 IUs is already pushing it beyond the tolerable upper limit and consistently doing that may give you hypervitaminosis past a few months. I would stick to as much as 4000 IUs, ALWAYS PAIRED WITH K2.

If you want an extra boost, you can also supplement with magnesium.

So your ideal stack would be: Calcium Carbonate, Vitamin D3+K2, Magnesium (you pick what form of it, I personally use a form that just has 3 forms of it Bisglycinate, L-Threonate and the other one I forgot lol)
