Yoo guys
This is a guide for medial canthus cutting (or atleast what i did)

Pay attention to this.
ENSURE THE CUT DOES NOT REACH THE DERMIS, REMEMBER THIS SHOULD ONLY BE DONE LIKE A CAT SCRATCH.
THE EPIDERMIS IS MUCH EASIER TO CUT, YOU NEED TO APPLY MORE PRESSURE TO CUT THE DERMIS, SO BE CAREFUL

Here are the layers of skin, so you know which to avoid.
Layers of skin

Why should we cut only in the epidermis?
RRqKQG5IKS5F0H1PKfr7fw 124558567

As you can see in this image, there are many arteries in the medial canthus area, so if you only cut the epidermis, you ensure you don't break any of these (saves you a trip to the doctor)

What is medial canthus cutting?

It's cutting the medial canthus to improve your PFL and give your eyes a better appearance.
Canthus anaytomy

As you can observe, that's the medial canthus.

What do you need to do medial canthus cutting?
You need the following objects.
Alcohol wipes: to disinfect the medial canthus and the tools you'll use for this
Razor: Either an eyebrow trimmer, scalpel (most recommended), or a pencil sharpener blade (what I used)
Those would be the objects (you can buy extra objects to disinfect post-DIY but they're not as necessary as long as you keep the area clean)

How do you do medial canthus cutting?
You'll take your disinfectant, clean the medial canthus and your razor.
With a ruler, mark about 4-5mm at 45 degrees downwards.

1789637620361

You'll cut over the black square I drew on the photo.

This is how I did it (I know its hard to see, I just did it so you'd believe me)

What do you do after medial canthus cutting?
You'll take the same wipes you used to disinfect your razor and clean the blood coming out of the medial canthus (bleeding is normal, just like in the video-if you're gushing blood it means you're doing something wrong.)

Does it really work?
Yes, although it needs to be done repeatedly (like lip cutting) until it scars in the way we want.

My results:

Before:

Before canthus

After:

After canthus

That's all-remember to sanitize. the area.

Use Sayori`s guide as reference.
I recommend checking it out and repping: https://looksmax.org/threads/sayori-canthus-cutting-guide-vids-did-it-at-park.2296043/

¡Hola chicos!

If he wasn't squinting in the second photo, you would see absolutely 0 change.

It'll scar and look the exact same a week from now, and then you'll do it again, and again, and again for little to no change

This won't change how you're perceived or treated, 0 ROI

People just do it so they can talk about some "DIY Surgery" when this is closer to self harm than surgery

If you repeat the procedure you will get the appearance of an elongated PFL.

Which for some people is absolutely worth it. Perhaps a higher ROI procedure would be cutting the lateral canthjs :feelshehe:

There's a little investment and there's no return

So by default its just 0
investement= little to no pain, low risk of infection
return= elongated pfl.
good roi

Yes, but even then, I don't believe anyone would be able to cut it enough for it to be worth it

Probably something with cutting & cogged threads would make a somewhat noticeable difference, but even then, barely a change

Good roi for the autists that actually measure PFL

Zero perceived difference irl

Meaning

Investment: a few minute cutting session
Return: nothing

hmmmm, i see where you are getting at. I will still do it eitherways bcs 1. it's cheap and easy to do and 2. I think there could be an ROI for my completely non existent medial canthus.
