article is written in leftist "muh neoliberal capitalism has made us see people as commodity" and "this is patriarchycal noo muh patriarchy" sloppy language, but it begrudgingly admits blackpill and modern dating landscape, although it minimizes how bad things are (like admitting less people have sex, but not saying that number is staggering 60% for young men).
For so many people, analyzing market via objective game theory + supply and demand sense is too low empathy and dehumanizing it seems.
This part was pretty funny though:

It's like... yeah they HIDE their feelings because they think simping, appearing as a "good person" is what's gonna make them succeed. (of course ignoring the fact that good person is subjective, as good christian, good atheist, good leftist and good family man are all completely different and mostly incompatible))
Of course in reality only thing that can help you in dating market is ascending via looksmaxxing to hmtn or more, improving your conversational skills, getting in environments where there is more women than men, and therefore where your value increases (by supply and demand).
And trust me, as someone who reads intelligent books (Nassim Taleb, David Graeber, Kafka, Dostoevsky, Nietzsche, etc), cooks well, isn't addict and is generally smart person, the best things I've ever done in increasing dating landscape is looksmaxxing and improving talkativity, not some trashy advice like "have more EQ", "cook", "read books", "get a dog" or "just be a good person bro".
Those are icing on the cake, and if cake is bad (your looks fail you), icing barely matters.
