Mensa Challenge Is Bullshit (stfu if you think otherwise)

"The Mensa Challenge" is a bullshit, ego-inflating IQ whore. They just give out high scores so that you go and pay for their real tests. Normally, I wouldn't need to say this because obviously a free IQ test online means nothing, but I keep seeing people post their scores as if it means anything. You are not a genius because you got 120 on Mensa. Get that through your numbskulls; it means absolutely nothing. To add to that, I will not trust your score unless it was clinically tested in person by a professional (I will accept that you are smart, but your score will not be thought of as factual). Even the paid online tests are a no-go for me. Do not post your score expecting approval and compliments; it is a baseline assessment to sort out autists and regular people. I, for example, took the test in school today because I was bored. I didn't have much time left in class, so I completed it as fast as I could. Once I finished, I had 11 minutes to spare. (Keep in mind the test is 35 questions and 25 minutes) This was my score:

This test was not only extremely easy but also fast; the questions were so easy that it was almost reflexive how I was able to answer them. Go to a clinician and recieve a certificate; otherwise, your score is worth as much as a block of cow shit.

They have a test that goes up to 182, your first mistake here was assuming that 120 iq or even a 135 is at all impressive

omfg. Mensa challenge can't score higher than 145+, and the professional test done by Mensa can't go above 162. But it's obviously satire cause it says "your IQ was measured at 72" under the 172. funny tho

An IQ of 135 is impressive regardless of how large the scale goes. If there exists one person who has an IQ of 200, it doesnt make someone with 135 any rarer. And anyway, the image was edited either way, so my point was correct

Roughly 1 in 100 people have an iq of 135 or higher, that’s globally not taking into account a country’s development or younger vs older populations. It is incredibly unremarkable.

Yeah, 1 in 100, the Mensa challenge gives it out like candy. All of my friends scored above 120, and none of us are remarkably intelligent (including me). That just shows how stupid it is to show the score you received from this assessment as proof of high IQ.

correct, thats my problem with people using the mensa challenge as proof of intelligence. its not reliable.
