A mental barrier is truly a very strong obstacle.

For a long time, I didn't believe I could achieve success in something I loved because I started too late. Now I understand how much potential I actually had. I won't become a professional athlete, but at least I can make my body better.
Some professional athletes whose interviews I've seen emphasize this.

Even though this example is about sports, it translates perfectly to everyday life. And some of you are living proof of that.

You put yourselves into created limitations that keep you from developing or living well. Then you like to look for something to blame it on. Just like I used to blame my late start.

Looks matter a lot, but you don't have to be anything special just to get laid

That doesn't work like this.

It's no secret that looks are one of the most important factors, but that doesn't mean everyone below average is seen as unattractive, while everyone above average is universally loved.

And believe me, I have my doubts about this myself.

But my friend, who's around 5'7 and I wouldn't say looks much better than me , he's skinny with a bad frame and his face is probably around the same level as mine has already had two relationships. He also happens to be friends with my oneitis, and he's the reason I met her in the first place

If you can breach your mental barrier you can achieve greatness for some people especially here alive and dead the barrier is to hard to break

Again, this isn't some story about how looks don't matter.

But it's funny to read guys who are above average themselves still claiming that their problems are because of their looks.

It's easy to tell yourself you're a loser just because of your looks

Either way, that's the lowest percentage. So it's not just "below average." There are people here who are even better than avarage and simply keep whining.

it's true, your brain can be at the same time your greatest ally and your biggest enemy. I had and still have problems with the block thinking is it even worth starting new looksmaxxes, hobbies or trying new things when I'm already this old or if they seem "scary"
this plagues the majority of the forum userbase as far as I have seen, I believe this forum would be a chad factory if people, including myself could get over the mental barrier and just do some things (easier said than done)

but regarding the thing you said about starting too late, I always try to keep in mind this quote: "the best time to start was years ago, but the 2nd best time to start is today" and it helped me quite a bit regarding some decisions in my overall life

Yeah if you're limiting yourself you'll never succeed in anything, never ceil your potential, just try your best and you'll make it:BlushHug:
