The idea is clench your teeth (maybe with a mouthguard between them) and at the same time jut your mandible forward.
And when I say jut I mean just press forwards as if you were to jut , dont let it slip.
This way you would apply forward upwards pressure on your teeth in upper palate.
I can apply way more force biting and jutting than poking my tounge against the pallate, but there is nothing stopping you from doing both.
