Since my late teens I have loose braces that I only wear at night. At that time they fit me perfectly. Shortly after that I started mewing.
Now I'm in my early 20's and there's a 1cm gap between the plastic and the palate. I also noticed that I don't really need to wear them now, as my upper teeth don't push themselves out anymore, though this could also be due to the fact that my wisdom teeth got removed.
Anyway, point is my palate seems to have widened. But before you ask: no, I don't look any different.
