All you need is three years of army. Applies to US audiences

Pros-
- FREE COLLEGE. You can go without worrying about debt. They even give you allowances for housing and books. Main pro for me
- They pay you so you will have some money for surgeries
- VA Home loan. Zero down
- Jobs will like veterans I guess
- Smaller benefits


Cons-
- Fighting for israel and da joos.
- If doing college you’ll be 3 years older than everyone. Main con for me
- Some more liberal minded people wont fw you

If you join the military, I would recommend doing ROTC if in college or OCS if you've already done college. You will go in as an officer and get paid exponentially more money

Yeah I did think about that but I heard you have to be on lock throughout college and you can’t really fuck around while you’re there or they kick you off scholarship

But the extra money is nice it’s definitely something I’m considering

You just have more responsibility which will carry over once you commission, if you want to do it as a career for 20 years, go officer, if you just want quick benefits and to learn a good field to transition to contracting or private sector, do a quick contract if you can go into cyber/cypto/Radio(signals)/Electronics.
