I cut my hair short and I don't hate it but now I wanna grow it out and try other styles

I heard minoxidil causes hair loss (or at least the hair that grew to fallout) after you stop using it, if that's true then please suggest some alternatives

I could always wait for 8-10 months but I honestly don't have the patience

Your hair isn't gonna fall out if you stop minoxidil

Minoxidil is a vasodilator and when you stop it the vasodilation is gonna stop meaning the hair is gonna get less nutrients resulting in it growing slower and growing like baseline (natural hair thickness)

If you still don't wanna use minox you should use something that has the same effect of vasodilatation like Rosemary oil. Maybe it's not to the same degree but that is the trade off you are doing

I think that you should use minox. It doesn't cause hair loss at all but rather it makes you hair go back to baseline.

It's like somebody who was on roids going off them

You can try derma stamps, it takes alot longer to see proper results but the hair doesn't fall out once you have done using it

Alright, I'll try minoxidil. What about the shedding phase, does that happen primarily to those that are balding or everyone after usage? A quick Google search says that hair will fallout before it grows back
