I'm going to buzzcut my hair (I know I will probably look worse I don't care) but to grow it back faster could I use topical minoxidil without having side effects. Would it boost growth significantly?

Use peppermint oil or castor oil for the sole purpose of a faster growth, minox have a shed phase before starting to working (which means that you will LOSE a bunch of hair during several weeks/months).

I replied, what you don't understand in "you will lose a bunch of hair" ? the shed phase means that your hair won't grow faster and just shed because minox make them enter in an anagen phase so it's obviously retarded if you want a faster growth on the short term.
