Mk677 act by increasing your appetite by triggering the ghrelin receptors and that's how your hgh level improve.
My question here is can you replicate mk677 effect with an effective fasting ? It should in theory do the same effect

I don't think that fasting decreases IGF 1, starvation will for sure but as long as you get all your nutrients in your 2 meals I do no't see the issue
