John Adams - died at 90
Thomas Jefferson - died at 83
James Madison - died at 85
Andrew Jackson - died at 78

US life expectancy today - 76

JFL at modern medicine, it hasn’t done shit to raise life expectancy even with all the advancements. All it did was prevent many people from dying of infectious disease early in their childhood.

Educated patient is the biggest fear of a doctor.

How dare you try to avoid death or lifetime harm of medical malpractice by doing basic research.

I agree partially. You need to go the doctor but its better to have surface level knowledge on you condition so that you dont get scammed or get treated by a shit doctor.

I have relatives who are doctors and they admitted 90% of medicine is managing conditions and not curing.

basic knowledge. of course medications are for managing and not curing.
just type up “biomedical approach”.
and just type up what is the purpose of medications, it literally says “to manage symptoms. If the medication is discontinued, symptoms will return”.

It’s all about natural health tbh

modern medicine takes stuff from traditional medicine

for example aspirin

Medicines made from willow and other salicylate-rich plants appear in clay tablets from ancient Sumer as well as the Ebers Papyrus from ancient Egypt.[13]: 8–13 [20] Hippocrates referred to the use of salicylic tea to reduce fevers around 400 BC, and willow bark preparations were part of the pharmacopoeia of Western medicine in classical antiquity and the Middle Ages.[20] Willow bark extract became recognized for its specific effects on fever, pain, and inflammation in the mid-eighteenth century.[68] By the nineteenth century, pharmacists were experimenting with and prescribing a variety of chemicals related to salicylic acid, the active component of willow extract.[13]: 46–55
