i went to a buffet a few hours ago, my mom drove me there because of the historic heat wave in france.
when it was time to leave, the heat was so intense i ran back inside and called my mom for a ride and SHE TOLD ME NO (8 minute drive btw)

"ugh, first off, i have to pick up your brother, advance on a project, do this, do that and SO MUCH MORE, you're wasting my time! just walk home for once will you?!"

FORTY MINUTES... for FORTY MINUTES i walk the no-shadow countryside road under the blazing heat with my 2kg platforms and my black shoulder-length hair.

when i finally got home, eyebrows drenched in sweat, i found her ironing in a cold room with a fan. the car was still parked, her "project" untouched and my bro wasn't home.

worse than that, i tell her how she could've saved me 32 minutes and she INSTANTLY screams at me:
"OK!? DO YOU WANT TO BE IRONING IN THIS HOT ROOM LIKE I AM RN?? YEAH, YOU DON'T, AND MOVE AWAY FROM MY FAN, I'M SWEATING TOO!"
