Kazakhstan is poorer than Russia and Russians don't want to learn Kazakh language, these are the main factors that encourage them to emigrate. Ethnic tension between Kazakhs and Russians is quite high, although there were no clashes. Many Russians hope that Putin will annex the north and eastern parts of Kazakhstan to Russia. After the start of mobilization in Russia, officially 200,000 Russians entered Kazakhstan, 110,000 currently here. Some of them will go to other countries (Turkey, Thailand, UAE) and i think most will return to Russia. Wages here are very low and the rent price skyrocketed after the mass influx of Russians.
